Network-panel test: zero list uploads
On a desktop browser, open dev tools (F12 → Network) to verify it yourself: throughout uploading, generating and exporting in SeatMark, not a single network request carries your list data

- Uploading a spreadsheet adds zero network requests: parsing runs in local JS
- Photos and PDF rendering also stay in local memory — an already-open page keeps exporting if you go offline
- Rosters live only in this tab and are cleared when you close it; seating drafts stay in this browser and can be wiped from the privacy page
Cloud design tools: your list must be uploaded first
- Bulk merge requires uploading your list — the network panel shows the whole sheet POSTed out
- You cannot verify how long your list is retained on their servers or who can access it
- Lists with ID numbers or photos leaving your network may cross school or company compliance lines

Q What else can I generate besides seating labels?
226 built-in templates cover exam desk labels, seat number stickers, door signs, conference table tents, place cards, hospital bed cards, service-window signs, shelf labels, student IDs, staff badges and more; paper presets and the designer let you adjust fields, sizes and layout freely.
Q How should I prepare my spreadsheet?
The first row is the header. Include columns like name, room, seat number, ID, class or department. Cleaner headers give better auto-matching — you can also download the sample file as a reference.
Q Is my data uploaded to a server?
No. This is a pure front-end app: spreadsheet parsing, photo matching and PDF generation all happen in your browser. Close the page and everything is gone.
Q How do photo templates work?
A photo filename just needs to equal or contain a value from one of your columns — e.g. "JaneDoe2023010101.jpg" matches by name or ID column. Matching and coverage stats run automatically after upload.
Q What do I get in the end?
A print-ready PDF laid out on your chosen paper (A4 / A5 / A3). You can also use browser printing for vector output with sharper text. Labels per page depend on the template.
