Seating chart title

Second column = group (auto-grouped); paste "Name, Group" columns straight from Excel, e.g. Alice Wang, Groom's side (one guest per line; a Tab also works as the separator)

Guest groups (custom colors)

Optional: add groups like "Groom's side / Bride's side / Colleagues". Auto-assign seats guests from the same group at one table first; when seats run short, the groups that had to be split are listed below.

Pick a preset or add tables; next, auto-assign and fine-tune by dragging. Switching presets asks first when seats are already assigned.

Drag tables and markers on the canvas to position them; click a table to rename it, set seat count, or delete it.

3Assign seats

Auto-assign first, drag to fine-tune, then export in step 4.

Assignment strategy

Import the guest list in step 1 before assigning seats.

After assigning, drag guest names between tables to fine-tune; drag to the "Unassigned" area below the canvas to remove a guest.

Click the pin next to a name on a table to pin that guest: they stay at that table (and count toward its seats) when you re-run auto-assign or move a whole group.

Poster layout (readable from afar): tables fill the page with larger names; turn off to export the floor plan as-is

Before export, we check for unassigned guests, empty tables, and overlapping tables.

For the welcome desk

A4 portrait quick reference: a name → table index sorted by name first, then the roster of each table, so the check-in desk can look up seats fast. "Download PDF" is generated in your browser and does not use watermark-free quota.

Place cards / table numbers

Available once guests are seated: names and table numbers go straight to the Studio for place cards, no re-typing.
